Screen Free - Day 3

My husband complained the most today.  He told me that he's stressed because he can't work on the computer whenever he wants to.  He hasn't to work on it at particular times and that is stressful to him.  That's a valid point.  He also came home late from work so he could work a little longer on the computer before coming home.  He's a college teacher and it is the end of the semester and things get a little a crazy near the end of any semester.  He is justified in being a little stressed and having to stay at work a little longer.

My older kids have adjusted the best.  They aren't complaining, or saying anything really.  Every once in a while they say they want to watch something on the computer, and I say "ok, in January".

Poor Cy asked fewer times today about Phineas and Ferb.

When something funny happens during the day I often think.  "Huh, I should put that on Facebook.  Wait a second!  I'm not on Facebook anymore!  Bummer."  I guess I don't need to have a Facebook frame of mind anymore.  Maybe I should think instead "I should write that in my journal", or "I should tell my husband about that."  Interesting.
